Archer Daniels Midland Company (ADM) Board of Directors has declared a cash dividend of 30 cents per share on the company’s common stock payable on Dec. 7, 2016, to shareholders of record on Nov. 16, 2016.

This is ADM’s 340th successive quarterly payment, a record of 85 years of uninterrupted dividends. As of Sept. 30, 2016, there were 577,808,367 shares of ADM common stock outstanding.

Shares of Hormel Foods Corp (NYSE:HRL) ended Monday session in green amid volatile trading. The shares closed up +0.65 points or 1.78% at $37.09 with 3.83 million shares getting traded. Post opening the session at $36.76, the shares hit an intraday low of $36.48 and an intraday high of $37.18 and the price vacillated in this range throughout the day. The company has a market cap of $19.26 billion and the numbers of outstanding shares have been calculated to be 529.20 million shares.

Hormel Foods Corp (HRL) recently declared several leadership appointments. James M. Splinter has been designated to the position of group vice president, corporate strategy. In this new role, Splinter will have responsibility for leading the company’s planned growth areas counting innovation, corporate development and strategy, consumer insights and building the company’s digital and e-commerce capabilities across the enterprise. Splinter will report to James P. Snee, president and chief operating officer who will assume the post of chief executive officer on October 31.
